The puckish Italian producer adopted a spirit of “internal revolt” for the Scacco Matto follow-up, out November 20. Listen to a single, “Art Life & Skateboarding,” below.

Senni goes on to explain how his love of hardcore informed the new LP. “In electronic music, there is a lot of modulation in between parts, like a teasing, but in hardcore, it’s three drumstick strikes on a snare, or a strum of a bassline, and then you’re straight into it, you know.

Senni is also preparing for a string of festival dates in the coming weeks, including slots at C2C in Turin and Unsound’s flagship Poland festival as well as its London edition in November.
