Chris Stussy rebrands as Chris Stassy in surprise artist name change

To inaugurate the new name, the Dutch DJ and producer is set to host editions of his N. A. M. E. party series in Birmingham and Amsterdam next month.

Chris Stassy did not detail a reason for the sudden change, though fans are speculating in the comments that there may have been an unpublicised conflict with American streetwear brand Stüssy.

The artist’s debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten...’ was released under his original alias Chris Stussy this past March. The name of his label Up The Stuss appears unchanged.

To inaugurate the new artist name, Chris Stassy is set to host editions of his N. A. M. E. party series in Birmingham on 22nd August and Amsterdam on the 27th to kick off the “new era”.
