Loopmasters announces latest sample subscription and production platform, Loopcloud 8

The standouts of the latest update are Inspire and Listen, described in a press release as “intelligent tools for idea generation and harmonic matching” and Advanced search, which takes its prompts from descriptions (like “vinyl-crackle boom bap drums") rather than tags.

Elsewhere, the Flip preset library has been doubled to 2,000, while the MIDI library features more than 125,000 files (with approximately 8,000 drum patterns). There are also five new effects: Gator, Looper, Utility, Chorus and Bitcrush.

Beatport acquired Loopmasters, and its umbrella brands Loopcloud and Plugin Boutique, in 2020. Version 6 of Loopmasters, unveiled in 2021, added AI search technology and three new FX: Tonebox, EQ, and compressor.
